Tree Protection Barriers/Fencing
Tree protection fencing is needed on construction sites that have trees that will not be removed and are required by the city or township to be retained. Each municipality has their own parameters when it comes to what they expect in a tree protection barrier/fence.
Each tree must have its own tree protection barrier in order for the critical root zone to be protected from excavation and other construction activities that may damage them such as soil compaction.
A city official must inspect these tree protection barriers in order for construction or excavation to begin and deem them acceptable. Maintaining your barriers is paramount as well, as the City can fine you if they are not maintained. The City of Surrey fines $500 per offence and up to losing your entire tree security deposit, which is $15,000 for single family lots and $150,000 for multi-family, commercial and institutional lots. The City of Surrey can place "Stop Work" orders on sites that have unacceptable tree protection barriers along with delaying permits.
We are familiar with what is required by every city and municipality and build our tree protection barriers to their requirements. This way you won't need to worry about your tree protection barriers/fencing failing and causing delay to your building project.

All of our tree protection barriers are made to municipal bylaws and ISA best management practices.
